I just got a Nintendo game system!!  And I got it for free, without having to stand in any lines or hit F5 a gazillion times. 

No, it's not the one you're thinking of.  You're looking at the new owner of a slightly used Nintendo 64 system.   

Anyone out there have any games?  I checked out some stores, but I couldn't find any, and I'm a bit hesitant to buy used cartridges on eBay. 

Janet and I drove down to Orange County for the Thanksgiving weekend.  We left San Francisco at 10:30 am Wednesday morning, and didn't get to her house until 7 pm.  That's 8.5 hours of driving!  :O

We came back this morning, and it only took us 5.5 hours to get back.

Flu-proof

I got a flu shot yesterday.  I normally don't get sick (a fact which my mom would attest to the effectiveness of han-yak), but I didn't want to take any chances with finals looming. 

When Bears Fight

I'm going to the Cal / UCLA game tomorrow in Berkeley!  It's my first college football experience.  Hopefully it'll be an exciting game.
