What Result?
Now let's play the new game that's sweeping the nation - "What Result?"
It works like this. I give out a story. You tell me what you think the result was/is/should be. These are all true cases. The names have been changed to protect the innocent (and the not-so-innocent). Okay, here we go:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris asks out Jane. She accepts. He buys very expensive theater tickets and makes plans for a nice evening based on her promise. On the night of the date, Jane doesn't show and he gets stood up. Chris sues for damages.
What result?

suing for damages, the only damage is the ego. there is not written agreement it is rude of the girl not to call and just be honest.
chris is an idiot I dont think he can win. Jane never coerced Chris into buying those tickets. He did it of his own accord.
no consideration - no contract. hahahhahaha
Chris will lose his lawsuit . . . unless he hires Matthew Paik Esq. - then he might have a chance for financial compensation =)
Chris probably wins stating emotional distress or something outlandish. Lifetime buys the rights to his story and makes a movie deal. It stars James Marsden and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
chris wins, because otherwise this question would be too easy.
wat's the answer?
